Advice on #IntroRelUH

Things that worked for me in this class would include all of the coursework being posted at the beginning of the year and the small groups. With all of the coursework being posted we were allowed to get ahead of the class or catch up if we started to fall behind throughout the course. This was helpful at times where I was overwhelmed with homework, quizzes, projects, and exams, I was able to come back and catch up on this class’s posts.

Things that didn’t work for me was my procrastinating, although I said it worked for me at times, sometimes I would get too comfortable with the due dates and be late with a lot of work. With all the required readings and podcasts, procrastinating in this class is not ideal. Aside from that, the professor really works with the class and is understanding with due dates.

Advice I wish I got for this class was that there was gonna be a lot of writing posts, reading and listening. Most of my classes that required discussion posts usually had 1 post per week, but this course had 2 per week.

My favorite thing about this class was the learning about the different histories and reasons behind certain terms and ideas we still use today. Looking back at the origins really gave me a better understanding of the world/society we live in today.
